October 22 + 23, Flanders' Expo Gent (BE)

Once again we'll have a photobooth
on the right-hand side of the autographing actors.
It's a closed booth,
but feel free to visit for a picture of your cosplay,
to say hi
or to bring us cupcakes
(the best cupcake of the day receives a t-shirt, promised our chief).

From 10AM till closing time our webcams will show
what's going on inside the photobooth.
Check the live-stream on Aztek-TV,
Since there's free wifi this FACTS, you can even check the stream
while waiting in line for your picture with the actors.
'coz yes, the following actors will visit our photobooth for pix with the fans:

Dirk Benedict (A-team, Battlestar Galactica),
Tom Felton (Draco from the Harry Potter-movies),
UPDATE: Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk himself), cancelled
Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks, Boxing Helena), cancelled

Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia from Buffy + Angel)

And when there are no actors,
we'll be shooting cosplayers
with 12-gauge shotguns.

Our guest-photographers Laura, ~Rogue-chan, *ShamanRenji, Stefan & *Dr-Whom will be hunting cosplayers on the rest of the convention grounds,
so there will be no place to hide!

JAPAN EXPO BELGIUM

November 4 till 6, Tour & Taxis Brussel-Bruxelles (BE)

We'll tend an open photobooth for cosplaypix
during the 3 days of JEB.
No actors so we'll have plenty of time
for cosplayers & cupcakes (yep, same deal as during FACTS).
There will be a delegation of crazy French feet-worshipping cosplayers visiting,
so keep an eye
on the live webstream we'll be broadcasting on Aztek-TV.
There might even be a delegation of German Clamp-cosplayers, we'll see.
Once again: support Aztek-TV by buying an instant print of your cosplaypix..

Yes, it's still 2 weeks till the 1st of those events but..
if i don't publish this now, i'll probably forget it entirely.
Like i've kinda forgotten to update this journal in the last.. euhm.. year.
No worries, i'm still around
in a new place far from civilisation
enjoying every sweet moment.
Look at what you have
instead of looking at what you don't have
and try to enjoy what you have at the fullest
for as long as it lasts,
is a credo
that's harder to live by than it seems,
but it suits me actually very well
and leaves me very zen, smiling & almost tranquil.
I guess that makes me a bit bouddhistic-but-with-a-red-kilt-and-a-battle-axe.
